Following the successful launch of the Film Cambridgeshire website in 2025, we are proud to announce its official launch as a Community Interest Company (CIC), marking the next stage in promoting Cambridgeshire as a destination for film, television, commercial and digital media productions.

Established by local industry professionals as an independent resource for the screen sector, the not-for-profit organisation showcases the county's diverse filming locations while connecting productions with local businesses, suppliers, communities and creative talent. From the historic streets of Cambridge to the landscapes of the Fens, its open countryside and heritage sites, Cambridgeshire offers locations suited to productions of every scale.

Film Cambridgeshire provides location information, local expertise and connections to trusted production services, while helping productions identify the relevant local authorities, organisations and contacts to facilitate filming across the county. It also supports local filmmakers, content creators and creative businesses, helping raise the county's profile as a centre for creativity and innovation.

As a Community Interest Company, any surplus generated will be reinvested into promoting Cambridgeshire, developing services and creating new opportunities for the region's creative industries and local communities.
